Pirates choice of food

This morning Celia decided we should play Pirates. She got on the treadmill, which was her pirate ship, and starting looking for land. After a few minutes and many aaaarrgghhhh's from her, Aaron and I, she decided we must be thirsty. Luckily she found tea floating in the ocean, and being a very brave pirate she jumped in after it. All of us pirates had tea and then carried on with our travels to the island to find treasure. When we were almost there, Celia decided that we were all very hungry. In our best pirate voices Aaron and I yelled that we were hungry and asked what us pirates were going to eat. Celia proudly exclaimed that us vicious, tough, pirates loved........smoothies!!! Aaron and I could not stop laughing, as we repeatedly yelled aaaarrrrgghhhh and and asked our matey for more smoothies. So if any of you were wondering what mean pirates like for dinner, it's tea and smoothies!!!

I'm not the only one ready for summer!

Celia saw my dress that I had worn to the luau (sp?) at DisneyWorld and decided it should be hers. I decided that she should just borrow it because you never know when you are going to be invited to another luau. She was doing hula dances last night for Aaron and I and even had to sleep in it. We think she looks a little like Lilo when she wears it.

Happy Valentines Day!

These are a few pictures from Max's Valentines Day class party. Celia has been sick, so she had to miss her party that morning. She was thrilled that she got to go to Max's. This is the last class party this year so I was a little sad. The chocolate got me through it!

Celia just making herself at home! Notice her daddy in the background? He got to come to this party too! Yeah!!!!!

Ready for spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so ready for Spring. Cecelia has been very sick lately and so we have all pretty much been stuck in the house. It can get a bit depressing. So instead of feeling yuck this morning, I decided to daydream a bit about spring and how wonderful it is going to feel to rush outside without worrying about winter coats.

This April I am going to do a 5K run and I am looking forward to nice weather to train in. I am definitely not a runner but decided that I would push myself beyond my usual aerobics classes. I can't say that I enjoy the running, but I do love the feeling of accomplishment when I am done. At this point I can do the 5K on the treadmill with no problem, but I am just getting ready to start running outside. I know it will be like starting all over again, but I am really looking forward it. Aaron, and our friends Amelia and Spence are going to do the run with us so that will make it even more fun. Anyway, the run is the Race for a Cure so I will be letting everyone know more about it when it gets closer. Wish me luck!!!

more presents

The other day Cecelia received the coolest gifts from her friends Mason and Nick. She was soooo excited about her new purse that she wore it and made sure to draw attention to it by smiling and saying "hello everybody" while she had her head turned toward the purse. They also gave her a new beautiful apron with her name on it. I'm not sure if you are all aware of how important it is to have your name on things, but Celia is! Amelia's mother-n-law made these gifts and they were absolutely wonderful. I really wish that I had that kind of talent.

Her cool new purse. On the back pocket is a C made out of little stones. Soooo cute!
